Almost 10 years ago, Jeff McMullen first went on the road in America with the band, INXS. In those days, the six of them crammed into one van and jammed anywhere they could find an audience. Last week, McMullen joined the latest INXS tour of the States and found things had certainly changed. Now, they, travel in their own jet, and haul a maze of electronic gear - even an entire stage - with them. Where once the fans had trouble working out their name, now they flock to the concerts by the thousands. INXS are, without doubt, one of the hottest bands in the world. McMullen gains rare access to the band - in concert, backstage and on the road. He also talks to lead singer Michael Hutchence about sex, drugs and rock'n'roll and of course, about his much publicised romance with Kylie Minogue.
